Artrageous Embroidery is a sponsor for the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon held every 2 years in Washington, D.C. The Solar Decathlon is a competition in which college and university students compete to design, build, and operate the most attractive, effective, and energy-efficient solar-powered house.

We have donated thousands of dollars in team uniforms including custom printed t-shirts, jackets and embroidered polo shirts to a variety of University Teams including Penn State University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Boston Architectural College/Tufts University and Santa Clara University/California College of the Arts. In order to promote sustainablity, the products used by the teams were made from sustainable fabrics included 100% Organic Cotton, Bamboo or other recycled materials.
